He is sur- I ived by his widow, five children, his mo: 1: or. three brothers and two sisters. In his death the prevalent malady has taken fonr members of the family since Thanksgiving day, at which time his sis- j ter. Mrs. John Lant of Parson, died. The following day his sister. Mrs. Amos Keee of Salt I.nke. died, and a short time ( niter that another sister, Mrs,. Jiirl I'avis of Salt Lake. died. Had he lived until today Mr. Davis would have been -10 years of ace. He was born itt Spanish Fork. For fourteen year lie had been employed by tho I'tah-idabo I'tah-idabo Siiiiur company in the capacity of f:eld representative. For a number of years he was employed in the IVtta dis-tric. dis-tric. Later he was transferred to Garland Gar-land and in January of this year he was assigned to the Vrovo district to succeed suc-ceed W. W. toodridtre, who died of influenza in-fluenza here last November. Wherever he had been Mr. Davis had taken on active part tn church and civic work. Lurinsr the time that ho lived in IVita he was superintendent of the Sunday Sun-day school at that place. While In the l'rovo district he had been very sneceS- fnl and made a host of friends here. The body is at the Fer;4 undertaking establishment and will be sent to Spanish Span-ish Fork tor burial. The funeral will be held in the Spanish Fork pavilion Sunday Sun-day af;ori:oon at - o'clock. |
