The theater audience becomes the studio audience for an unforgettable variety performance. The show was a tremendous hit on Broadway in 1981, director Ariel Bailiff noted, and if its opening night performance is any indication, it will be a hit here as well. Musically, the production is a trip through time to the war years. It was the first show in a long time where I knew all the words, one audience member commented followr ing the production.
