Members of the Gold Treasure club will sponsor a metal detecting seminar Saturday in the southwest corner of Draper park, 12400 So. 1200 East. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Demonstrations of many kinds of metal detectors will be given, along with information on usage of various detectors. The club meets regularly at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month in the Kearns library auditorium. All interested persons are welcome, a spokesman said.
