Fox, agricultural engineer, will be at the Magna Library Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p m. to lecture on the subject of drip irrigation for home gardens and yards. Fox, a Michigan State graduate with a degree in agricultural engin- eering, h& worked with various types of irrigation systems on Hawai- ian pineapple plantations, and on sugar GMP beets and other crops in several western states. He first experimented with drip irrigation on sugar beets in 1974, finding that production could be increased while water use could be cut in half. Since 1975, he has used drip irrigation on his own garden and shrubbery and adapted commercially available components into a simple system that will suit most home and small commercial needs. Fox claims that anyone can learn how to adapt a modern drip system to vegetable gardens, flower beds, fruit trees and shrubbery. QaSEDcag) "'Xv Silkience GNP Coupon Coupon GNP Coupon Dak G.E.
