CLINTON RELIEF SOCIETY :A Bicentennial Melt production, Down My Pewter, was presented to an appreciative audience Friday night by the Clinton Utah Sake Relief Society. fMARY DAVIS, Stake Relief Society president, said t&at tfie production featured dfama, music, and dancing afid starred members of the ske. Directed by Jeanne Jensen aid Joyce Fisher, the show highlighted moments in the ltyes of heroic women who helped build America. The cultural hall was especially decorated in red, white and Jue motif. STAKE PRESIDENT A. DeMar Mitchell set the theme for the evening when he recalled events of Clintons history. Members of the cast wore elegant costumes designed by Kay Williams and Shirley Hepworth. Of special interest were eight long blue and white gowns which had been individually fashioned to compliment each wearer. The designers had also sewn most of the costumes themselves. Organized by Fr. Don Abram, the courses are designed to help those young people who are considering marriage within the next few years. THE FIRST course Marriage Information will be given on Saturday, May 9 from 2 to 5 at St. Rose Hall. It will cover the basic needs for a good marriage, including the areas mentioned, plus finances, children and family planning. Presented in panel form, Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, Dr. Peter Quintero, an Ogden physician, and Fr. Don Abram, parish priest at St. Rose, will each give a presentation concerning important aspects of a marriage relationship. One important subject will be Fr. Abrams talk on the sacrament and spirituality of marriage to include the Roman Catholic Churchs marriage -- position - on the rights and obligations. THE BASIC purpose of the program is to help young people see and understand the seriousness of marriage. One goal is to encourage the development of mature attitudes and another, to acquaint the youth with potential problem areas. It is hoped that if common conflicts are pointed out now, serious problems will not develop later in marriage. The second course Female Body Awareness will focus on the Billings Ovulation Method of Family Planning. It will be presented by Sr. Mary, from St. Benedicts Hospital on Sunday, May 16 from 2 to 5 in St. Rose Hall. The class aim is to have women become young completely aware of their physiology and bodily functions which will help them in the future for family planning.
