To "Whom it may concern: Xotiee is hereby "liven that the Slate of Utah has filed in this ollice a list, No. 21, of lauds selected by the said State for the establishment establish-ment a,ml maintenance of a Deaf and Dtlrub AsvluuJ, under Sec. 12 of the Act of Cuiifiress approved July Hi, IS91. The following tract, embraced in said list, is in a township containing contain-ing mineral claims of record, viz: The west half of the northeast quarter of Section eleven, in Township forty-one, south, and of Ttanpre, thirteen, west, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. A copy of said list, so far as it relates to said tract, by descriptive subdivisions, has been conspicuously posted in this office for inspection inspec-tion by any person Interested, and by the pub-lie pub-lie L'eiienilly. Within the next sixty days following the date of this notice, under departmental instructions of Nov. 27, 1896, (23 L. D.. 459), protests or eon-tests eon-tests ajrainst the claim of the State to said tract above described, on the frrouiid that the same is more valuable for mineral than for agricultural purposes, will be received and noted for report to the General Land Office at Washington, D. C. Failure so to protest or contest con-test within the time specified will be considered sullicient evidence of the non-mineral character char-acter of said tract, the selection thereof being otherwise free from objection, will be recommended recom-mended for approval. Dear Sir: Please announce in your forthcoming issue that one fare for the round trip will be charged from points on our line to Milford to duly accredited delegates to the Republican and Democratic Conventions Con-ventions to be held in Salt Lake on the 1st and 2nd of March next. Tickets to Salt Lake will also be sold upon the same basis. Selling date to the Democratic Dem-ocratic Convention Feb. 28th good to return March 2nd.
