Show Mr. and -Mrs. Morton Morris Celebrate Silver Wedding Anniversary Friday j Mr. and Mrs. Wr. Morton Morris celebrated their silver wedding i anniversary Friday, July 26, hav- ' I ing been married in San Fran-j I cisco July 2G, 1915, at the time j j of that City's last World's Fair. The couple were honored Friday j evening with a silver wedding i buffet dinner and party at the I outdoor dining room of the E. W. Simmons home on Highway 91, with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Phoneix entertaining. The guests included besides the honored honor-ed couple, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Whitehead, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Snow, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Judd, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Milne and Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Simmons. The buffet dinner was served from one long table covered with an elaborate lace cloth the centerpiece center-piece being a three tier wedding cake decorated in white and silver with silver candles in crystal holders at the table ends. Following the dinner bridge was played, honors going to Mrs. Joseph J. Milne for the ladies and to Mr. Morris, for the men. |
