Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter The Washington Factory camp of D. U. P. held their December meeting last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. H. W. Prisbrey. Pris-brey. The lesson was given by Mrs. Alton Jones, and a history of Mrs. Bertha K. Sandberg was given by Mrs. May Sandberg. Mrs. Joseph Hannig assisted Mrs. Prisbrey in serving. Mrs. Bert Dewey entertained her Rook club on Wednesday of last week. Lieut, and Mrs. Gene Judd left Tuesday after a short visit with their mother, Mrs. Mary Allen. Lieut. Judd returned to his post in Alabama and Mrs. Judd to Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Paxman returned Saturday from Las Vegas where they visited several days with relatives. Pvt. and Mrs. Warren Hannig have returned to Salt Lake City after a ten-day furlough with relatives in Washington and St. George. The Relief Society officers gave a party Tuesday afternoon for the outgoing officers. A program and refreshments were enjoyed, and each outgoing officer was presented pre-sented with a gift. Mrs. Earl Milne and baby, Sharon, are spending two weeks in St. George at the home of Mr. 1 and Mrs. Jos. J. Milne. A social was held Tuesday night i under the direction of the M. I. A. i officers. i Linda Larson spent the week end here with her sister, Mrs. Lydia Stephens. Mrs. Alton Jones spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur F. Miles, it being Mr. Miles' birthday anniversary. |
