Born, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Wood af Cedar City on Monday, Dec. 5th. Mrs. Wood is the former Wanda Anderson of this city. Word has been received of the birth of a son, Dec. 9th, to Sgt. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson. Mr. Johnson is in camp in South Carolina. Car-olina. Mrs. Blaine Abbott and infant son returned Friday from the Iron county hospital. Miss Lorena Jones entertained at a birthday party Monday afternoon. after-noon. .. Miss Kathleen Beatty returned Monday from Fillmore, where she visited over the week end. Visitors in 'Cedar City Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson, An-derson, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bring-hurst, Bring-hurst, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Wallace, Wal-lace, A. P. Spilsbury, Clay Denton, Den-ton, Harvey Slack and Mrs. Hazel Beatty. Mr. and Mrs. Arlington Spilsbury Spils-bury and family of Las Vegas spent Sunday at the home of A. P. Spilsbury. E. K. Slack left Monday for Salt Lake City on business. |
