Show WASHINGTON Caddie Neilson Reporter ' Mrs. Margie Turnbeaugh entertained enter-tained the D.U.P. at her home Thursday afternoon. She was assisted as-sisted in serving by her daugher, Mrs. Chriss Connell. There were 15 members present. Mrs. Etta Hannig was a visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hannig Sunday. Mrs. Stella Tanner was hostess to the Rook club Wednesday. Mrs. Lydia Stephens entertained at a party Saturday night. Those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Larson of Hurricane, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Larson of Springdale, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Pendleton and Miss Linda Larson of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Reber attended a banquet at Cedar City Saturday night honoring some of the state road officials. Mrs. Mina Sandberg visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cox on Monday. . Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Tobler and family spent Sunday here from Central where Mrs. Tobler is teaching school. Mrs. Elmer Harmon of St. George was a Sunday visitor at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Tanner. The gleaner girls with mothers and the Y.L.M.I.A. presidency as their guests, met at the home of Roma Nisson Thursday evening, where they held a Comradery service. ser-vice. After the program, house games were played and light refreshments re-freshments served. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hall have returned from a few days vacation vaca-tion in Los Angeles. Mrs. Bill Ewell and son, Seldon, of South Gate, California, are visitors at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Neil-son. Neil-son. A cottage meeting was held Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Neilson. |
