Show Mrs. David Spilsbury, Former Dixieite, Dies In Salt Lake City Mrs. Annie Richards Spilsbury, 81, wife of David Spilsbury, formerly form-erly of Toquerville, and now of 128 North Main street, Salt Lake City, died at her home Friday, Feb. 26th, at 3:15 p.m., after a long illness. Born Aug. 17, 1862, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Samuel W., and Ann Parker Richards, she came to Dixie with her parents par-ents when a very small child, liv-Ing liv-Ing in eastern Washington county. n April 24, 1883, she married David Spilsbury in the St. George Temple. They lived in Toquerville Toquer-ville until 1920, when they moved to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Spilsbury Spils-bury has been devoted to the work of Relief Society since a young woman and was a member f the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Pio-neers. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, five daughters, 23 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters. Funeral services and burial will be held this week in Ogden, according ac-cording to announcements. |
