Show Funeral Services To Be Held Today for Joseph L. Turnbeaugh Death came to Joseph Lawrence Turnbeaugh, 62, at 4 a. m., Sunday, Sun-day, May 7th, at his home in St. George, after an extended illness from cancer. Funeral services are set for this (Thursday) at 5 p.m., in the St. George stake Tabernacle, Taber-nacle, under the direction of Bishop Wilford Schmutz. Born Jan. 25, 1882, at Washington, Wash-ington, Utah, he was a son of William and Malissa Averett Turnbeaugh. Turn-beaugh. His early life was spent in Washington, Idaho and Arizona. On May 11, 1909, he married Miss Nancy Ellen Blazzard at her home in Washington. They have made their home in St. George the past 16 years. Surviving besides hi wife are three daughters: Mrs. Madge Bauer, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ellen Briggs, Mojave, Calif.; Mrs. Ruth Michael, St. George; two sons, Seaman Lawrence M. Turnbeaugh, U. S. Navy, Camp Peary, Va.; Pvt. Thomas W. Turnbeaugh, with the U. S. Army in England. There are also eight grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Malissa Robison,, Riverside, Calif.; Mrs. Edna Goodwin, Boise; Mrs. Ellen Morris, Douglas, Ariz.; Edgar Turnbeaugh, Boise; George Turnbeaugh, Cedar City; and Dan Turnbeaugh, Twin Falls, Ida. |
