Show Lottie Lee Lanier Piatt Dies At Enterprise After Lingering Illness ENTERPRISE, Utah Lottie Lee Lanier Piatt, 55, died here July 23 after a lingering illness of several years. Mrs. Piatt was born December 21, 1885, in Kissmet, Fla. She joined the L.D.S. church at the age of 16 and married James Piatt, who was laboring as a missionary mis-sionary in Florida at the time. Soon after they came to Utah and lived in Pinto for several years. Twenty-three years ago they moved to Enterprise and have lived here most of the time since. Mrs. Piatt was the mother of seven children, six of whom survive sur-vive her. They are Mi's. Vivian Sorenson, of Enterprise; Mrs. LaMar Bleak, of Pico, Calif., Mrs. Henry Bruce, Mrs. James Harmon, Lee and Ellison Piatt of Redding, Calif. She is also survived by her husband, James Piatt. Patriarch William Lund, James Amos Holt and Bishop Barlocker were the speakers. Relatives who attended from a distance were Mrs. LaMar Bleak, Mrs. Henry Bruce, Mrs. James Harmon, Lee and Ellison Piatt from California; Mrs. Mary Seeg-miller Seeg-miller and son, Donald, of St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Piatt and Maria - Piatt, of New Castle. |
