Show Mrs. Margaret Moody Paxman Dies Friday In California; Services Held Mrs. Margaret Moody Paxman, 78, a pioneer and resident of Southern Utah, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sil Engil-man, Engil-man, in Inglewood, California, Friday, Jan. 14, 1938, at 8:15 p.m. Funeral services were held at the Little Church of the Flowers, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park cemetery, in Glendale, Calif. Jan. 17, and she was buried in that cemetery. Mrs. Paxman leaves the following follow-ing children: S. J. Foster and Ruth Engilman of Inglewood, Calif.; V. B. Clift, of Los Angeles; Tillie Hedquist, of Salt Lake; John M. Joseph D. and George W. Foster, of Cedar City and Clive H. Clift, of Boise, Idaho; also an only brother, J. M. Moody, of St. George. She leaves 31 grand-children and two great grand-children. Mrs. Paxman was born at Salt Lake City. April 8. 1S59; the daughter of John Moody and Sarah Matilda Dameron. She came to St. George as a small child. She married Solon Foster Jr. and by him bore five sons and two daughters. After Solon's death she married Dr. Frederick Clift and by him she bore two sons, after his death she married Wm. R. II. Paxman. who died some time ago. After leaving St. George, site lived at Provo. Kaysville and Salt Lake City, where her home was at the time of her death. J. M. Moody attended the services ser-vices from here. Mr. Moody left here on Sunday and returned fi:e dry. |
