Show CHARLES B. NEEDLES Charles Needles succumbs Charles Burton Needles passed away Oct. 4, 1980, of natural causes. He was born in McPherson, Kan., to John Wesley and Salinda Gauss Needles. He married Bertha Wilcox, and they later divorved. He married Iowa Steele and she later died. On Jan. 11, 1974 he married Dessie Davis. He was a retired railroad engineer and an active member of the LDS Church. Survivors are: wife, sons, Floyd, Vernal; Burton, Magna; Jesse, Price; daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Betty) Wagner, Godfrey, 111.; Mrs. Glen (Polly) McGrath, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Paul (Bonnie) Weaver, St. George; Mrs. Brent (Connie) Houskeeper, West Jordan; Mrs. Gary (Charlene) Bur-nham. Bur-nham. Price; sisters, Mrs. John (Ann) Biava, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Bud (Marie) Baer, San Bernadino, Calif.; Bernice Hudsen, Fort Supply, Okla; 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Services in honor of Mr. Needles were in the Helper LDS Ward chapel, Tuesday, Oct. 7, 1980. Bishop Paul Tabone officiated at the service. Jesse Needles gave the family prayer. Bishop Waldo Gale gave the invocation, and Larene and Mary Ann Ockey sang "Oh My Father." Following a tribute by Burton Needles, Pres. Robert Olsen spoke. Bishop Tabone rendered some .remarks. "In the Garden" was sung by Larene and Mary Ann Ockey. Gary Burnham gave the benediction. Paul Weaver dedicated the grave and interment in-terment was in the Mt. View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wade Needles, Brent Houskeeper, Gary Burnham. Glenn McGrath, Pete Vomvas and Paul Weaver. |
