Show Midnight birthday party VERNAL SPECIAL-A midnight birthday party was held for Tess Sid-doway Sid-doway and Marion A. Behunin, Friday evening at Marion's home. Both ladies celebrated a birthday on that day. Friends entertained with musical numbers and cake and punch were served to the guests. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Woodhouse provided punch, and birthday birth-day cakes were presented to the ladies. Ellen Rawlings, Roosevelt, played several piano numbers; Tony Woodhouse played two trumpet numbers accompanied by Melba Woodhouse. Tony also sang the "Doll" song. Icce Leavitt, played several piano numbers and sang. Her yodeling was really appreciated by the group. Ivan Jacobsen played several ac-cordian ac-cordian numbers. Judy Brighton lead the group in community singing and "Happy Birthday" to the two ladies. Tony Woodhouse who will celebrate his birthday on Oct. 19, received a "Happy Birthday" song. Mrs. 'Woodhouse accompanied ac-companied Judy. Other guests included: Ronald and Merl Horrocks, Lapoint; Steve and Hope Esauk, Dane and Ruby Thomas, Harold and Orinda Gee, Eldon and Goldie Wilcken, Denzen and Mari Hatch, all of Duchesne; Ezra Stewart, Julian and Ellen Massey of Jensen; Byron K. Hardy, Eula Von Larsen, Donald and Larere Laris, Clista Angus, Thera Mulford and Parley Rawlings, all of Roosevelt; Robert Covalt, Rangely; Delbert and Elouise .Horricks, Ballard; Milt and Florence Wooley, Mamie Golston, Pudge and Beverly Merkley, Kent Brighton, Shirley and Evelyn Slaugh, Lyle Simper and Elva Bowthorpe of Vernal. |
