SIXTH WARD The Norman C. Lister family toured Flaming Gorge and Vernal last week. The Sherman Millers just returned from Idaho, say the fishing was good. Elaine Eatchels sister, Lorraine Self and family, are visiting from California. While here her daughter, Sandra, had an appendicitis attack. Shannon Flynn had an operation and Terry Brewer had his tonsils out out. We hope they are feeling better. Mutual fireside will be held Sunday, July 11 at 8 p.m. Mutual Girls Honor Nights are July 13 for the Beehives, July 20 for the Mia Maids. July 13 will be a kitchen pizza platter party for the Mia Maids, Lourels and Explorers. July 20 will be the mutual ward board meeting. Hope all officers and teachers will attend. Saturday, July 3, will start the Explorers trip down the Snake River. We had a very inspirational speaker at our sacrametn meeting on June 27. SEVENTH par-pate- WARD The Seventh Ward welcomes new members into our ward and they are the George and Ruth Coat family, and Sherman and Janet Kindall family. New babies were welcomed by Sammy Kay and Gordon Boylan. Sustained as advisor to the eachers quorum was James Danklef. Primary Cup Cake sales will be Tuesday and remember primary is at 11:30 a.m. The Trail Builders Boys Round-uis coming July 14. There will be flag raising ceremony and breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. Top Pilot Treakers and Blazers, boys. Guide Patrol are all included. Mutual had a fun night last week, the Beehive Girls went bowling and then to a drive-ifor refreshments. The rest of the mutual went on a hay ride and then came back to church for eats and square dancing. New people in mutual are Janet Kindall, new 2 year Beehive teacher, Jo Lasley, Laurel teacher, and Earleen Labrum, as chorister. Chris Boss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Boss, 1522 Paradise Lane, who was in an automobile accident Friday, is getting stronger every day. He is still in serious condition. Field Day was a day of fun for employees and their families. Children competed in races for prizes. Fun. Adults competed in special events for prizes. Fun. Everybody played bingo for prizes. Fun. Screams of delight from those using free tickets for amusement rides. Fun. Enormous quantities of food, ice cream, candy and soda pop were consumed. Fun. Field Day was a great day for fun.
