The carpenter boys are making three tables now. Leo Hawkins has not been to school for two weeks. The girls are begining to put on summer dresses now. It has been a little cold hero, and the wind has been flowing some. Mr. Driggs mother and brother came to visit our school the other day. Miss ZorbaugtPs pupils often take the study of botany now, but not every day. Ellen Mineer likes to hear Amelia Comer talk, and she stays near her all the time. Wednesday evening the study ioom was bright, and we did not have the electricity. The pupils are all well now and none of them nave been unwell for several weeks past. Mr. John Murryand his wife came from Idaho and they stayed in the lust, a day. They went to Mt. Wednesday afternoon Miss Stilllr and Liobie Ih Long had a nice game of ball, but it did not seem very pleasant when tht yot their fingers knocked. Mr. Metcalf and the boys went out for a walk upon the hills about two miles northeast of the institution. They picked somefijwers and had a good time. Albert Fla'ie went home two weeks ago. He was very glad to go home because he had not seen his father and mother for almost two years. He lives in Snowflakc Arizona. It is about 1,400 miles from here. |
