Show LOCAL NEWS' Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Barton of Hollywood, California, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Hart. Mr. and Mrs. Barton plan to make their home in Colorado Springs after their visit here. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Coombs of Hollywood, California, spent a week visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Hart. Vance Larsen is now rapidly recovering re-covering from a severe illness. o Mrs. Emma Stephens left Saturday Satur-day for Los Angeles for an extended ex-tended visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bater spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cowan. I o t Mr. and Mrs. William Dralms and Mrs. Maggie Draims of Fresno California, stopped in Duchesne Du-chesne to visit with Mr. and Mrs. John O. Watters. They were on their return trip from Vincennes, Indiana. Glen Hadden of Utahn and Lapriel Heath of Upalco were united in matrimony toy Justice of the Peace Avarett at the home of Will Hadden at Utahn, Saturday. Miss Marian Mortensen is visiting visit-ing with her parents at Ephraim. She will be gone until September. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hadden have moved into the house recently occupied oc-cupied by G. L. Nance. Mrs. Lawrence Pack and daughter daugh-ter Pauline returned to their home in Price Monday after an extended extend-ed visit with Mrs. Pack's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Fitz-water. Fitz-water. Mrs. C. D. Cutler,' who has been visiting with her sister, Mrs. W. D. Bishop, returned to her home in Salt Lake City, Monday. Dr. L. H. Cline took the son of Warren Mecham of Mtn. Home to the hospital in Salt Lake City, Wednesday, for an emergency appendicitis ap-pendicitis operation. Mr. and Mrs. H. Clay Jackson, and Mr. and Mrs. Byers of Ft. Worth, Texas, spent several days visiting with Dr. L. H. Cline. Miss Cline came in with them, and wll remain in Duchese for a few weeks. A community dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Orr Monday evening. The following follow-ing were present: Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Porter, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Selch, Mrs. Mary A. Connon, Miss Florence Shellabarger, Miss Mildred Mil-dred Cline, Miss Martha Page Porter, Dr. L. H. Cline and Frank Connor. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Miss Ruth Kempton and John Martin were Duchesne visitors Sunday evening. Among the out-of-town people who attended the funeral services for George S. Bowers were: Mr. & Mrs. C. T. Axelgard, Mrs. Nan John, Mrs. Joe Schleg and Mrs. Lawrence Pack, Price; Mr. & I. R. Tuttle, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Miller, Mrs. Fred Burger, Miss Alice Todd and A. M. Todd of Myton; Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gentry of Ioka and M. E. Lundberg of Roosevelt. A marriage license was issued to Doyle Iorg of Ioka and Miss Lllas Wloodard of Duchesne. The ceremony was performed by Bishop C. W. Smith. Roy A.
