She was married in Reno over the Labor Day weekend and honeymooned in Lake Tahoe. The lucky bridegroom is Merlyn Jackson. We wish them much happiness. An open house for the couple was held Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Taylor in Ogden. It was for members of their immediate families. The Ray Sorensens are very excited over the arrival of a new granddaughter. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John (Kristine) Niel-soShe arrived Saturday, Sept. 18, and weighed in at four pounds. Mother and child are doing well and are in the University Hospital in Salt Lake City. Chad Dalton of Logan visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dalton. Chad attended conference, and then accompanied his mother to Ogden where they visited Mrs. LaRae Worley and children, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Sheffer, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Womack and children, and Mrs. Linda Davis and children. Afterwards, Chad attended Larry Johnson's farewell. While Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Hill attended a church meeting Saturday evening, their pressure cooker blew up, burning their two children, Jeff and Vera Lynn. Vera had to stay in the hospital until Monday. They are doing fine now. were received. Enroute from Reno to Dan Garfield stopped at the Tremonton Airport and picked up Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Garfield.
