He had also served as a Counselor in the Sunday School, and had filled a Stake Mission. Mr. Vorwaller received his endowment in the Salt Lake Temple Aug 23, 1954. After the death of her husband, she started at the Tooele County offices, chiefly in the Assessors Office. She feels her experience as Deputy Assessor has prepared her for carrying out the duties of County Recorder because both offices handle many of the same records. He was Pony Express Rider at the official commemoration, and is a former chairman of the Grantsville High School Band Parents Association. J. Allan Parkinson, a retired school teacher with 46 years experience behind him, is seeking a place on the School Board from the Grantsville precinct. He has attended school at the U. of U., BYU, and University of Colorado. He has served- as City Recorder of Grantsville for 18 years and as Stake Clerk since 1944. He is a member of the American Legion, and a veteran of World War I, having served with the American Expeditionary Forces in France during World War I. He has been in the Insurance business for 20 years. Mr. Parkinson was married to Clarice Bates in 1921 and they have two children, Allan J. Parkinson and Donna P. Sanborn.
