One adult female was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of a drug overdose. On March 1 5 an individual reported an assault at Pleasant Grove High School. An initial report was taken. An individual reported some graffiti at a public park. Pictures were taken and a report was done. On March 16 an officer responded to a delayed report of an assault that had occurred causing the victim to need sta-ples to the head. The victim did not want any actions taken. A police officer responded on a report of an individual who held a knife to the reporting par-ty's neck and threatened him. The suspect was arrested for ag-gravated assault and transported to the Utah County Jail. An officer responded on reports of a delayed vehicle burglary. The only items tak-en out of two vehicles were the registration and insurance cards. On March 1 8 officers took a report of an individual steal-ing water from the local city water department. The indi-vidual was cited for theft of services and released on cita-tion. On March 11, an officer was dispatched to a local address on Pleasant Grove for a suspi-cious vehicle parked in front of a house. The female driver was found to be too impaired and un-able to safely operate a motor ve-hicle. She was arrested for DUI and transported to the police de-partment where she was issued a citation and was later released without further incident. A police officer was dis-patched to a local residence for a report of tires slashed on a ve-hicle. Suspect information is in-cluded in this report. This case will be sent to the Detective Divi-sion for follow-u- p investigation. On March 12 Officers re-sponded and took a report of a vehicle burglary at a local resi-dence. Five bowling balls and other bowling equipment was taken from the vehicle. This case is being referred to PGPD Detec-tives for further investigation. An individual reported a sto-len BMX style bike. An officer was dispatched to a criminal mischief complaint and a report was made. On March 14 a police of-ficer responded on a retail theft incident at Smith's Grocery Store located at 210 E. 700 S. in Pleas-ant Grove. While en route, the reporting party stated the suspect exited the store and was entering State Street. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with one juvenile male and one adult female. The adult female admitted to stealing the chips from Smith's. Both the adult female and the juvenile male were arrested on charges. The juvenile male was released on citation and the adult female was arrested and transported to Utah County Jail where she was booked in on sev-eral charges. An officer was dispatched to a possible overdose where the complainant reported a female was unconscious and not breath-ing. The officer arrived on scene where the officer made contact with a juvenile female who re- - On March 1 an officer re-sponded to a park in Pleasant Grove for a report of a dam-aged tree. The officer met with a parks worker, who showed the tree which had been broken off and removed from the park. The police officer gathered the infor-mation available. No suspect in-formation was obtained. On March 2 a citizen called to report a possible impaired driv-er. One adult male was found to be driving under the influence and arrested. The male was later re-leased with a citation for DUI and other related traffic violations. Two juveniles were cited for multiple charges after being located inside a local elementary school after hours. On March 3 a report of two brothers fighting in the front yard of the reporting party's home was made. Contact was made with one brother who had minor injuries. The other was not located and had left the area. An ATL was broadcast. Case pend-ing further investigation. A police officer was dis-patched to a local address to take a report on a possible vehi-cle burglary. The reporting party said someone had gone through his vehicle, but did not take any-thing. There was also no damage to the vehicle. The reporting party did not want any actions taken just wanted to make a re-port. An officers took a report of a delayed vehicle burglary. A wallet, a GPS, and an iPod were taken from within the vehicle. There is no suspect information at this time. On March 4 an officer was dispatched to a local address for a vehicle theft. The reporting party said she told a friend she could drive her vehicle while she was gone for a couple of months. She had not seen her vehicle since. An ATL was put out on the vehicle. On March 5 an individual re-ported a theft of a 2013 registra-tion decal sticker from their rear license plate. An officer responded to the Junior High on a report of stu-dents selling marijuana to other students. The students were inter-viewed and later released to their parents. A police officer responded to a local business for a female passing a bad check. The male driving the vehicle left from the scene after he knew the police had been called. The officer made a traffic stop on the male who had outstanding warrants. The male was arrested and transported to the Utah County Jail. On March 7 an individual reported the burglary and theft of files from her office. One suspect was named An individual reported a theft of an iPad. On March 8 a victim re-ported her wallet stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the PG City rec center parking lot. No suspect information available. An adult male was cited for retail theft after stealing three packs of batteries from Macey's. He was also trespassed from the store. Two males were stopped for suspicious activity. One male had two warrants and was arrested. On March 9 an officer was dispatched to a local business for two females fighting. Field inter-views were conducted on scene. One juvenile female was found to be the primary aggressor. She was transported to the police de-partment where she was issued a citation. All the juveniles' par-ents were contacted and picked up their children. A police officer was dis-patched to a vehicle burglary. A report was taken. was reported. Driver was DUI on alcohol and medication. She had two juvenile children with . her. The driver was arrested and taken to the police station while the vehicle was impound-ed. The children were released to family members from the police station. Blood and urine samples were collected as evi-dence. While transporting the fe-male to county jail, she passed out several times. A medi-cal clearance was obtained at UVRMC and the female was booked into jail on multiple charges. Officers were contacted and asked to respond to Walmart for a report of a male shoplifter in custody. Officers arrived and found one male in the asset pro-tection office. He was given Miranda and admitted to the theft. The male was also found to have a NCIC warrant out of California. The male was trans-ported to our Police Department where he was booked and re-leased after finding California was denying Extradition. An officer met with an in-dividual in the front lobby in regards to a delayed theft report. The male owns a local fabrica-tion business and stated he had over 1000 of welding leads sto-len off of his trucks sometime in the last week. On March 17, 2013, an of-ficer stopped a vehicle for no passenger side taillight. The "Lindon " continued on Page 9 i On March 7 traffic was stopped for an equipment vio-lation. The driver was arrested for DUI in this case and multiple warrants in related cases. He was released with citation for offenses in this case and booked1, into county jail on the warrants. The vehicle was towed as a state impound. An adult male suspect was caught shoplifting at Walmart and was issued a citation into Lindon Justice. On March 8, an officer re-sponded to a report of a male and female possibly under the influence who had left the Tri City Medical Center. The offi-cer was advised the vehicle left north bound on State. The offi-cer had Pleasant Grove Police Department advise. The vehicle was located at its residence un-occupied. An officer spoke with an Employee from Low Book Sales who advised a female purchased a vehicle in Febru-ary. The officer was advised the females' information was false and they were unable to contact the female. The officer was also advised the GPS devices were disabled in New Mexico. On March 1 1 a stolen iPod from Oak Canyon Jr. High was reported. On March 12 a police of-ficer responded to a report of a suspicious male dumping wire scrap into a dumpster at the rear of a business. The officer arrived and was advised by the reporting party the male had left the area and traveled South on Geneva Road. The officer was provided a license plate of the suspect vehicle and a vague de-scription of the driver. The sus-pect was later identified. On March 13 a ten-ye- ar -- old juvenile male was reported breaking into a residence and attempting to steal an item. The male will be referred to Juvenile Court on the charge of Burglary of a residence. An officer made contact with a male that was flagging cars down while appearing to be intoxicated. A consent search was done on the individual and paraphernalia was located. The male was issued a citation for Possession of Paraphernalia. On March 15 a citizen's car was keyed while her boyfriend left it parked at a business in Lindon. There is possible sus-pect information. The victim's other car was damaged earlier in the day in Provo.
