Show HISS PITTMAN MARRIES GEORGE HALL Simplicity is the keynote of the ceremony planned for Monday June 2 at 7;30 p. m. when Miss Winifred Pittman becomes the bride of George Hall at Wasatch Presbyterian church. Miss Pittman will be costumed in a gown of ballerina length embroidered em-broidered nylon. Above the full skirt will be a long sleeved jacket with high rounded neckline. From the rjearl covered Juliet cap will fall a sheer nylon finger-tip veil. The bride will carry a white orchid or-chid on a white Bible. Maid of honor and only attendant attend-ant to the bride will be a sister, Miss Hazel Pittman, of Fallon, Nevada. Her gown will be blue organdy, styled exactly like that of the bride. After the ceremony, a reception will be held in Ferry Hall on the Westminster campus. In the receiving re-ceiving line will be the bride and groom; the bride's mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Pittman Pitt-man from Wabuska. Nevada; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hall of North Ogden, parents of the bridegroom; best man Henry Hall, brother of the groom, and the maid of honor. Miss Helen Christman, House Mother at Ferry Hall will sing two musical selections, "Give Me Your Hand," and "For You Alone. She will take colored movies of the wedding ceremony. Miss Pittman has asked Miss Billy Halm to be in charge of the gift room, and Miss Margaret Scott and Miss Marje Franze to preside in the dining room. The new Mrs. Hall will wear a going-away suit of pink rayon gabardine She will wear white straw hat with pink flowers to match her suit, and .white gloves. White linen shoes and bag will complete the ensemble. For their wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Hall will drive to the Pacific Northwest, down to San Francisco and back to Ogden where they will reside. Both are graduates of Westminster West-minster College, Miss Pittman graduating this year, and Mr. Hall being a member of the 1951 class. |
