' This house and its surroundings sur-roundings bespeak the thrift of its occupants. In cuts 4 and 5 we see both the buildings and surroundings highly ornamented and made attractive. How much more pleasant it is to have a home beautified, as these are, than to have it like cut 1, or even 3. All the extra expense required re-quired to tastefully adorn the home is fully repaid in the enjoyment of the occupants! Children will love to stay at home to enjoy the sweet perfume of the flowers and gaze upon the beautiful foliage! When God has given us the facilities it is our duty to make good use of them and make our, homes attractive.
