The open house will feature fea-ture kid-friendly games, hands-on art activities, prizes, priz-es, refreshments and a ribbon- cutting ceremony. The public is welcome to tour the new building. Hobble Creek Learning Center is a new educational facility that provides pre- school for 3, 4 and 5-year-old students, tutoring for all ages and after school enrichment en-richment classes, and is currently cur-rently registering students. J-p Hobble Creek Learning Center ' Two subjects taken to hospital following fight At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, the Springville Police Department Depart-ment responded to a fight in the area of 145 W. 200 South. Once at the scene, officers of-ficers located two men who had sustained injuries. Both men were transported to" Utah Valley Regional Medical Medi-cal Center in Provo. ' According to witnesses, three or four persons, including includ-ing the victims, got out of a dark colored sedan near the address of the calL An argument argu-ment ensued and, one of the victims was struck by the vehicle. One neighbor ran into the road and dragged the victim to the sidewalk, as the vehicle made a U-turn and headed back toward the injured man at a high rate of speed. Officers discovered that the first victim, 2 l:y ear-old Jose Sida of Springville, also had multiple stab wounds. The wounds appeared to be puncture type wounds, possibly pos-sibly made with a Phillips head screwdriver. He suffered suf-fered a blow to the head and had a great deal of swelling. Witnesses also reported that the suspect fled in a dark colored sedaa Officers were seeking to confirm his identity and to locate him. He is believed to be from the Provo area. Officers said that alcohol was involved in the incident and it is unknown if.it was a gang-related incident.
