NOAKES LAID TO REST Impressive Funeral Services Held at Springville Third Ward Chapel Funeral services were held in the Springville Third ward chapel Saturday Sat-urday afternoon, August, 22, for George H. Noakcs, age 00, who died in a Salt Lake hospital, August IS, of typhoid fever. Bishop II. Ralph Smart was in charge. The floral offering wns exceptionally ex-ceptionally large. Members of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engi-. neers acted as pallbearers. The chapel was) well filled my the immediate im-mediate relatives and friends. - The speakers - were Wulter F. Whitehead of Provo and J. F. Bring-hurst Bring-hurst of the Kolob stake presidency. Musical numbers were a vocal solo by Elmo Coffman, a vocal duet by Walter P. Whitehead and Mrs. Sadie Ramsey of Provo, nnd vocal shlos by Miss Catherine R. Dougnll nnd Heber Snell. The invocation was offered by II. T. Reynolds and the benediction by John S. Boyer, Sr. Interment was In the Provo City cemetery. The grave was dedicated dedi-cated by John V. Wordsworth. |
