Show JUVENILES BREAK INTO FOUR STORES Provo Boys Face Burglary Charges; Crandall Home Entered In Springville Four hoys of juvenile age are in ilie custody of Chief of Police Wren-YVilkins, Wren-YVilkins, charged with burglarizing the Hansen Candy company's fae- tory, Provo City Fruit store, the Dainty Pastery store, nnd the Hub I Clothing store. j The Hansen factory was first entered en-tered "Wednesday evening nnd re-, entered Sunday evening, according to Chief AVilkins. The other stores are said to have been entered by the youthful quartet Sunday evening. even-ing. Their loot cosisted of forty candy bars and a carton of gum, taken : from Hansen's: 35 cents in pennies! and two boxes of candy from the ' fruit stand; $2.50 and a number of cakes from the Dainty Pastry nnd a couple of pairs of ladies' galoshes from the Hub, which were found In the weeds hack of the store. Two of the boys nre said by Chief Wilkins to be on parole from the: state industrial school. The boys are1 7, 9, 11 and 12 years of age, the; chief reports. Deputy Sheriff Otto Birk reports that two Springville boys were arrested ar-rested this morning chnrged with entering the home of Daniel Crandall Cran-dall and stealing three watch chains nnd other articles of jewelry. The boys are being held In the county jnil pending further investigation. They, too, are juveniles, being 11 and 10 years of age. |
