The first accident in which the baby fcusluined a broken collar bone occurred a mile south of the Tjindon hill on Provo IJcnch Hiitur-dny Hiitur-dny evening during the rain storm. Kealiz- ing that he couldn't turn back on I the ri'ht side of the road in time to miss the Ilallas car, Mitchell kept his car headed across to the left i side of the road, off the pave ment. Ilallas also turned out to his right ns usual in order to miss the t skidding car, and the two machines ( collided on tho west side of the Iroad. Both cars were damaged almost al-most beyond repair, according to Deputy S. A. Willis who investigated investi-gated the case. : Leon Moore of Payson and Verald Bpainhard of Spring Lake were in-i in-i jnred severely when their car skid ded off the grade when they turned : out to meet another car on the road Tic t ween Spring Lake and Santaquin. Two girls who were also in the car ( escaped injury. David rs Park, the four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Park, was struck by a Ford coupe driven by a girl from American Fork.
