Mr. and Mrs. Grant are spending Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing day in Bingham with Mr. Grant's mother. J. M. Nichols was in Salt Lake Tuesday on business. Mr. S. E. Dnllin is leaving within with-in n few days for California, where he will spend the winter. He will visit his daughters, Miss Hilda Dalton in Berkeley, and Mrs. George Russell in Alturas. Miss Florence Childs went to Salt Lake Wednesday evening to remain re-main until Friday. Her brother. Myron, will come down from Logan to meet her there nnd together they will nttend the football game on Thursday. Myron will also come to Springville on Friday to stay until un-til Sunday, when he will return to Logan, where he is a student nt the A. O. Mrs. Lee Sumsion had as her dinner din-ner guests Sunday her sister, Miss Virginia Hnrward of Hazleton, Ida-bo, Ida-bo, and her brothers, Carl and Bert Mr. anil Mrs. Maria Brown of Provo were the Sunday dinner guests of Mr. nnd Mrs. E. W. Brown. Mrs. W. N. Grooms went to Salt Lake Tuesday to spend a few days. Mr. nnd Mrs. W. B. Groesbeck and Miss Lydift Palfreyman spent Saturday in Snlt Lnke. Mr. nnd Mrs. James Terry, of Salt Lnke, were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Straw. Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Crandall spent Saturday and Sunday in Salt Lake where they visited their daughters, Mrs. Francis Hamilton and Mrs. Roger Jones. Dr. and Mrs. Nelson Beal are spending Thanksgiving day in Salt Lake, the guests of Dr. D. G. Edmunds. Ed-munds. Mrs. A. C. Bird is visiting her daughter, Mrs. F. W. Goates, in Salt Lake. Mr. nnd Mrs, M. 1'. Miner, Eugene Eu-gene nnd Marian Miner, and Mr. nnd Mrs. Frank Jensen went to Stan-ardville Stan-ardville Wednesday, to remain over Thanksgiving. They will be the uuests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Memory. Miss Alice Simldns, of Salt Lake, is visiting relatives here. Mrs. M. A. Reynolds hns as her house guest her father, Thomas W. Croppeer of American Fork, Mr. nnd Mrs. E, W. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Wundle Openshnw, of Snntnquin, nnd Mrs. K. II. Barlow went, to Snlt Lake Wednesday to be the Thanksgiving day guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hoyle. Mrs. Stephen Deal is at home, after spending two weeks in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Groesbeck and daughter Rhoda, are spending Thanksgiving day in Ogden with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scovil. Mrs. Arthur Finley has returned from a visit of several days in Salt Lake. A wedding of interest was that of Miss Eleanor Prows, of Provo. and Bliss Childs, which took place Tuesday evening at the home of Bishop William Wninwright. The wedding had been e.nnounced for Wednesday, but the young couple decided to steal a march on their friends bychanging the dale. |
