Show NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION CITY OF SPRING-VTLLE, SPRING-VTLLE, UTAH COLNTY, STATE OF UTAH . WHEREAS, there is Immediate and pressing need of raising funds for the purpose of increasing, improving, im-proving, enlarging, , extending, repairing re-pairing and adding to the present waterworks system and securing an additional water supply for said City for the purpose of more adequately ade-quately supplying nnd distributing water to the inhabitants thereof, which said system and works shall be owned and controlled by said City, and to do which In an adequate ade-quate manner calls for and requires an expenditure of Eighty-five Thousand Thou-sand Dollars ($85,000.00) ; NO"W, THEREFORE, PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, tbat on Saturday the 17th day of July A. D. 1926r a special election will be held within the limits of said City of Springville, Utah County, Utah, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said City, as shall have paid a property tax therein in the year next preceding such election, the following question to-wit: . . QUESTION : . "Shall the negotiable coupon bonds of the City of Springville, Utah County, Utah, in the sum of $85,000.00, payable serially, $5,-000.00 $5,-000.00 in five years from date of issue and $5,000.00 in each suceed-ing suceed-ing year thereafter until fully paid, bearing interest at the rate of four and four-tenths per cent (4.4) per annum, payable, semiannually, semi-annually, be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying the expense ex-pense of increasing improving, enlarging, extending, repairing and adding to the present waterworks water-works system and securing an additional water jsupply for said City for the purpose of more adequately ade-quately supplying and distributing distribut-ing water to the inhabitants thereof, there-of, which, said system and works shall be owned and controlled by said City?" At said election the form of ballot ' shall be substantially as follows: BOND ELECTION BALLOT TES j For the issue of $85,000.00 Waterworks Water-works bonds If the voter desires to vote for the issue of bonds, he shall place an X in the space after the word "YES". If the voter desires to vote against the issue of bonds, be shall place an X after the word "NO."
