Show PROGRAM FOR CELEBRATION Every thing Is in readiness for the big national birthday celebration celebra-tion which begins with a big rodeo show at the high school campus at 1:30 this afternoon. Special features fea-tures at the rodeo will be the Roman races, bull-dogging nnd pony mces for boys and girls. After the rodeo performance beginning at 3:30 there will be a league baseball game Springville vs, Nephi. The Springville Spring-ville band will play at both the rodeo show and the baseball game. There will also be a big dance In the Opera house in the evening, Program for July 4. Enrly serenade by the Boy Scout baud, ; 9 :30 a. m. concert on the city park by the Springville band; 10:30 pntriotlc program in the Springville Opera House with E. S. Hinckley orator of the day. Other numbers on the program will be a vocal solo by Mrs. Allen Anderson, cornet duet by Ralph Weight and Earl Roylance, reading of the Declaration of Independence by Mrs. Frank Salisbury, selections by the Kiwanis male quartet and selections by the band. At 1 :30 there will be a rodeo performance at the high school campus, followed with a baseball base-ball game at 3:30. At 4:30 there will be games and sports for young and old on the city park. The city baud will be in attendance attend-ance at all three of the above mentioned men-tioned places. |
