Show T etnple Ceremony Friday Unites Young Couple . Mr. and Mrs. G. Fred Weight announce the marriage of their daughter Lenore, to Pvt. Robert L. Kelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Le-land Kelly of Atlantic City, N. J. The ceremony was performed last Friday in the Salt Lake temple. A wedding party was given In honor of the couple by parents of the bride, on Monday evening, at the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weight. Attending the reception were some thirty-five close relatives and immediate family members. A delightful evening was spent with novelty games and a program. Dick Conover entertained with vocal and instrumental music; Mrs. Woodrow Weight with a comic reading on advice to the bride; C. H. Childs, organ selections, selec-tions, and Mrs. Myrtle Conover, readings, one of which was of her own composition paying tribute to the newlyweds. At the conclusion of the program, pro-gram, a nicely arranged tray luncheon lun-cheon was served and the bride and groom opened their many lovely gifts. The bride was charmingly attired at-tired in the traditional white satin sat-in with lace trim and wore a corsage cor-sage of deep red rosebuds. Attending the party in addition to the guests of honor, were parents par-ents of the bride, the grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George Weight, Mrs. Mae Hatfield, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Conover, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Conover, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Con- over, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Conover, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Weight, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Weight, Mr. and Mrs. W o d r o w Weight, Ella Weight, Mr. and Mrs. Don Stevens Stev-ens and Mr. and Mrs. Will Gunn of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Carol Waters and daughter Marva, De-vere, De-vere, Ray and Darlene Weight, and Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Childs. The couple left on Tuesday for a few days' honeymoon trip and upon their return, Pvt. Kelly will leave for his station in Canada. Mrs. Kelly will make her home in Springville. |
