Flom ,nsS FERN OSTLER complimented with a party given by members of paranada club on Thursday evening, prior to her leaving for Salt Lake City, at the home of Miss Virginia Simkins. ' The group presented the honored pjest with a lovely gift and spent delightful evening of games following fol-lowing a nicely arranged luncheon. Attending the party were Fern 0stler, Virginia Simkins, Mary Boyer, LaVern Singleton, Mildred Larsen, Dorothy Richardson, and Virginia Rivers. & J. A. Packard of this city announces an-nounces the engagement of his daughter, Miss Ida Packard, to Marvil G. .Flom, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Flom of Rapid City, South Dakota. The marriage ceremony will take place September 24 at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Preal Packard, in Salt Lake City. Miss Packard is vice-president of the Cultural Arts, local junior federated club, and is also a member mem-ber of the Ad'Libitum club. Following their marriage, the couple will leave for Burlington, Iowa, where Mr. Flom is employed as contract plumber on a national defense plant. |
