Show Miss Barbara Black To Be Bride of Near Future , ; MEMBERS OF THE VERSATILITY CLUB held a regular meeting on Thursday Thurs-day afternoon in the form of an outing at the City park with their children. Officers of the year were elected, including Mrs. Eulalia Livingston, Liv-ingston, president; Mrs. Carl Atkinson, At-kinson, vice-president, and Mrs. Billie Burt, reporter. Later the group enjoyed refreshments. WITH THEDS CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN in attendance, coming from Los Angeles, Calif., and Seattle, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Johnson observed ob-served the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary with a family fam-ily dinner at their home on Monday. Mon-day. Many friends of Springville and other localities sent congratulations congratu-lations commemorating the occasion. Announcement has been made of the engagement of Miss Barbara Black, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Black, to Maurice Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Jenkins, Jen-kins, of Bingham. The marriage is planned to take place July 23 at Burbank, California.- The bride-to-be has attended the L. D. S. Business college and the future bridegroom is a former student stu-dent of the University of Utah and the Brigham Young university. Several parties are being planned plan-ned in honor of the young couple, one at Bingham Friday, July 11; another at the home of Mrs. Clara Boyer, Tuesday, July 8, as well as others. Following their marriage the young couple will make their home at Burbank, Calif., where Mr. Jenkins is employed at the Lockheed Aircraft plant. |
