S. Groesbeck to compliment their daugheter Marilvn, and their new son-in-law, Mark S. Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.j V. Robertson of Spanish Fork. The couple were married January Janu-ary 24 in the Salt Lake Temple, with Apostle Spencer W. Kimball performing the ceremony. The bride chose for her reception recep-tion a gown of biege lace, ballerina length, accentuated by brown accessories. ac-cessories. She held a colonial bouquet bou-quet of pink carnations and rosebuds. rose-buds. Parents of the couple assisted in greeting the guests. Mrs. Groes-beck Groes-beck wore a beaded gown in gray, and Mrs. Robertson an emerald green formal. Their corsages were in pastel colors. Welcoming guests at the door were Miss Rhoda Groesbeck, aunt of the bride; also Don Robertson of Spanish Fork, brother of the groom, and Gus Anderson, a foster brother. Music for the evening was fur bished by a string quartet composed com-posed of Miss Elaine Jessee, Miss Dorothy Clark, Mrs. Glenna Cutler and Miss Claudette Hill. Miss Dickie Huntington was in charge of refreshments served to approximately three hundred guests. She was assisted in serving serv-ing by Miss Kaye Groesbeck, Miss Laura Lee McKenzie, Miss Ileen Hales, Miss Dixie Wilstead, Miss LuAnn McPherson, Miss Carol Friel and Miss Donna Jean Crandall. Cran-dall. A beautiful floral arrangement in pastel colors, centered with white tapers, decorated the serving table. The newlyweds, both popular students at the Brigham Young University, are making their home in Springville while they continue their studies. |
