Attired in traditional white satin, the bride was charming as she greeted their many relatives and friends. Her fingvr-tip veil u-u? bordered with lace ami fashioned fash-ioned to her head with a wreath of or-WS'e. blossoms. Sho held a bou- quel "of pink rose buds. Attending as bridesmaids were jliry Ann" Bird, Edith Nash of SUlt I-ake City and Norma Metcalf o!- Salina. Mrs. Louise Bird was matron of honor. All wore pastel i'ornia'-s with flowers in correspon-Jin? correspon-Jin? colors. Little Kathleen Robertson Ro-bertson attired in a formal was flower girl. Fred Childs was best man. Parents of the newlyweds were s'so in the receiving line. Mrs. Bird wore a black formal and Mrs. Robertson Ro-bertson was attired in blue. Their corsages were of rosebuds. Hilton Robertson of Provo, an uncle of the bridegroom, was master mas-ter of ceremonies and announced the pogrram for the evening. Thora Whiting entertained with vocal solos, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Bird, who also gave piano selections. Mrs. Lois Rasmussen gave a vocal solo, also accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Bird. Mrs. W. L. Schreiner gave a reading; Mrs. ETa Reynolds a toast to the bride ar.d groom; Matt Robertson, a saxaphone number; Miss Edith Xash, a piano selection; Miss Carolyn Robertson of Provo, a vocal solo; Mrs. Leo Robertson, vocal numbers, accompanied by' Miss Nash; Glen Holley and Freeman Free-man Bird, a vocal duet, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. lone Palf reyman. The hall was specially decorated decora-ted for the reception with pyra-Cantha, pyra-Cantha, erysanthemums, palms and ferns and tall burning candelabra. candel-abra. The gift room was in charge of Mrs. Fred Childs and refreshments were served by friends of the bride including, Mrs. Carl Boyer, Mrs. Merlin Fox, Mrs. Don Miller, Mil-ler, Mrs. Jerry G. Tippetts, under direction of Mrs. Alga Mackley ar.d Jlrs. David Adamson. Acting as host and hostess were, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bird and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Crandall. The bride a?d groom left soon after their reception to make their home in Salt Lake City, where Mr. Robertson will continue contin-ue his studies in the School of Medicine at the University of Utah. |
