Show f Wed Recently In Temple Rites ... x - - l . rl1 Mr. and Mrs. Arden J. Aplanalp, nee Marie Dean Bybee Newlyweds Make Home In Provo After Temple Marriage, Reception Elder Harold B. Lee of the Council of tke Twelve performed per-formed the recent Salt LakeTempIe ceremony that united in Miss Marie Dean Bvhee and Arden J. Anlanalrj. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald E. Bybee of Springville, Spring-ville, and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Aplanalp of Price. After the impressive rites a dinner was given for close friends and relatives at the Utah Cafe in Salt Lake City. A reception later feted the couple x at the Springville ward meetinghouse. For the nuptial event , the attractive at-tractive bride wore a gown of ivory slipper satin and veil of French lace and illusion designed especially for the bride. Attending here were Mrs. Keith Jacobsen, matron of honor. Afton Ash, Majel Stanfield, Mrs. Dean Payne, Connie Rae Jones and Myr-leen Myr-leen Jones, bridesmaids. They wore gowns of blue, fuchsia, yellow, purple, green and lavender, respectively, res-pectively, fashioned after the style of the bride's. Mrs. Bybee wore for her daughter's daugh-ter's reception a gown of turquoise tur-quoise accented with pink camellias. ca-mellias. The bridegroom's mother chose to wear a fuchsia dress with white camellias. Norman Aplanalp, brother of the bridegroom, served him as best man. Ushers were Donnie Bybee, brother of the bride, Ken Leth and Roy King. The bride donned a red gabardine gabar-dine suit with black accessories for a honeymoon trip, which took them to the coast for the 60th wedding anniversary of the bridegroom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Aplanalp, Sr., at Los Angeles, Calif. The newlyweds will make their home in Provo until Mr. Aplanalp graduates from the Brigham Young University this spring. He is a member of Blue Key honorary scholastic fraternity, and Tausig social unit. The new Mrs. Aplanalp ''is a graduate of the BYU, where she was prominent in dramatics and dancing. In 1947 and 1949 she was chosen "MisS Springville." She has graduated from Stewardess Steward-ess School in Cheyenne, Wyo., and has served as an airline stewardess. |
