Carla Jean Allred Joseph Jacques United in Hawaiian Island Rites for close friends and the bride j and groom cut their wedding cake of yellow and white. - j The groom is a Torpedoman third class with the Navy, sta- ; tioned at Pearl Harbor and the j young couple plan to make ; their home in Honolulu for the next fourteen months. ; i Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Allred of Springville, formerly of Mount Pleasant, announce the marriage, mar-riage, of their daughter, Miss Carla Jean Allred to Joseph Jacques, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Jacques of Quincy, Wash. The wedding was performed in Honolulu, T.H. the evening of February 20, in a double-ring double-ring ceremony attended by immediate im-mediate friends of the couple. The bride was lovely in a three-quarter length wedding gown of white net and rose bud lace over powder blue satin sa-tin with matching rose-bud lace gloves. Her finger-tip veil of illusion fell from a close-fitting cap trimmed with seed-pearls seed-pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a bridal bouquet of yellow-rosebuds with white feathered carnations tied with white satin ribbon. Matron of honor was Rosemary Rose-mary Walker of Honolulu and James Walker was best man.
