Show i Bella Bringhurst paid respects I at funeral rites j Funeral services were held i Tuesday in the Third-Ninth j Ward Chapel for Bella Bird j Bringhurst, 80, who died Sep- i tember 13, 1968 at the Eldred J Hospital in Provo following a ; long illness. Bishop Glenn B. j ! Orton of the Ninth Ward of- ficiated. Burial was in the ; 1 Springville Evergreen Ceme- ! tery. j ; She was bom Oct. 16, 1887 1 in Springville, a daughter of j ; Richard LeRoy and Elizabeth I Mendenhall Bird. She married William Bringhurst on June 5, ' 1912 in the Salt Lake LDS j ; Temple. Mr. Bringhurst died in ! 1953. Mrs. Bringhurst was a member mem-ber of the LDS Church and was active in the Relief Society. 1 Survivors include the follow ing sons and daughters, Mrs. Victor (Frances) Sabin, Salem; J. Frank Bringhurst, Layton; j Mrs. Paul (Afton) Smith, Beav- I er; Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Haws. Tooele; Wells B. Bringhurst, i Robert R. Bringhurst, Dale B. ! ; Bringhurst, Mart B. Bring- ij hurst, all of Springville; 38 j ! grandchildren; 17 great-grand- j children; and one brother, Wil- liam Bird, Springville. |
