Show Final respects paid to life of Ada V. Hiatt Funeral services were held Wednesday forenoon, in the First-Twelfth Ward for Mrs. Ada Vilate Hiatt, 73, who died Saturday, Oct. 1, 1966, at Utah Valley Hospital. Bishop Leon Bjarnson of the First Ward, was in charge. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. She was born Aug. 18, 1893, in Marysville, Idaho, a daughter daugh-ter of Juel Josiah and Mary Ellen Kay Hendrick, and was married to Joseph W. Hiatt on Oct. 7, 1911 in LaGrande, Ore. Their marriage was later solemnized sol-emnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Hiatt died in 1949. Mrs. Hiatt was active in the LDS Church, working in the Relief Society and Primary. She had made her home in Payson for the past year. Prior to that time she had lived in Springville, St. George and other oth-er Utah cities, and in Nampa and Kuna, Idaho. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Loran (Larry) Hiatt of St. George; Melvin Hiatt of Arco, Idaho; Mrs. Jack (Venna) Simmons, Payson; Kenneth W. Hiatt, Eugene, Eu-gene, Ore.; Mrs. Dora Davis, Orem; Darold Hiatt, Springville; Spring-ville; Mrs. Melvin (Frances) Clowser, American Falls, Ida.; and Zane Hiatt, Salt Lake City; 36 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one brother, James Hendricks, Po-catello, Po-catello, Idaho. |
