Edwards Dies At Home Here After Short Illness Edward Jenkins Edwards, 82, resident of Springville since 1934, died early Monday morning following fol-lowing a short illness, at the family fam-ily residence. Mr. Edwards was born in Wales, January 11, 1867, a son of Edward and Margaret Jenkins Edwards. He came to Utah with his parents par-ents as a young boy and they set-tledMn set-tledMn Spanish Fork. EDWARD JENKINS EDWARDS in 1946. their golden wedding anniversary For a number of years he resided re-sided in Carbon county, where he was active in civic affairs. Later the family moved to Provo, where Mr. Edwards was a member of the police force for a number of years. He came to Springville 13 years ago. Surviving besides his widow, are three grandchildren, whom Mr. and Mrs. Edwards reared following follow-ing the death of their mother. They are Mrs. Charles Ney of Spanish Fork; Howard Beadleson of the U. S. Army, and Edward Beadleson with the U. S. Navy. Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m, in the First ward chapel and burial will be in the Spanish Fork City cemetery. Friends may call at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary this evening and Friday, before the services. |
