Show Former Resident Dies Of Heart Attack In Idaho Word was received this week of the death of Lester Burt, 55, in Rigby, Ida., of a heart attack.. A former resident of Springville, Mr. Burt graduated from the Springville Spring-ville high school and the U. S. A. C, before his -parents, the late Frank J. and Abbie Hall Burt, moved to Idaho. At the time of his death, he was a store manager in Rigby. He was a veteran of World War I and served ser-ved as First Sargent and later as captain, with which commission he entered World War II with the Co. F. 116 Engrs. He transfer-ed transfer-ed to the air corps in 1942 and served in England attaining the rank 'of colonel. He held this title in .the U. S. reserve at the time of his death. " He married Ivy Hogan, December Decem-ber 19, 1921. She survives him as do four sons and daughters, Lt. Kenneth Burt, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Mrs. Peggy White, Trenton, N. J.; Margaret and Gordon Burt, Rigby; also three issters arid a brother, Mrs. Effie Bruce, Lorenzo, Ida.; Mrs. Ethel Berger, Santa Monica; Mrs. Lora Palmer, Berkley, Calif.; Wm. Burt, S.t Anthony, Ida. Funeral Services and burial were at Rigby, Ida. on Sunday. |
