Show MANY ATTEND SERVICE FOR , MRS. MAUD CURTIS The Third ward chapel was filled to capacity Monday afternoon after-noon at services for Mrs. Julia Maud Curtis, 65, who died on Friday Fri-day afternoon, at a Provo hospital, hos-pital, following a short illness. Bishop G. Ray Hales of the Third ward was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, ur.der direction of A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary. Mrs. Curtis was born in Springville, Spring-ville, July 27 1882, a daughter of James - E. and Hattie Wiggins Hall. She had made her home in Springville practically her entire life, and since the death of her husband, she had done considerable nursing, working in hospitals as well as for individual cases. She was married to Lathael Curtis, March 9, 1902, and he died June 2, 1920. Survivors include two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. J. W. Clark and Mrs. H. B. Ewing of Springville; also four grandchildren and two great grandchildren: a. sister. Mrs. Myrtle Harrison of Springville and I a brother, Rolla Hall, Spanish I Fork. |
