Show CHARLES AVERETT FUNERAL FRIDAY IN THIRD WARD Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed Friday at 2 p. m., in the Third ward chapel for Charles Averett, 63, well-known resident of Springville, Spring-ville, who died Monday morning at the family residence, 170 South First East. Friends may call at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary Thursday Thurs-day from 7 to 9 p. m., and at the family residence before the services. ser-vices. Burial will be in the City cemetery. Mr. Averett was born in Springville Spring-ville Feb. 12, 1882, a son of J. H. and Alice Farnsworth Averett, early pioneers. He spent his early i;r in Br.T-ino-vill moving to Ma- life in Springville, moving to Mapleton Ma-pleton where he - operated a successful suc-cessful farm and was also interested interest-ed in raising livestock. He served two terms as a member of the Mapleton town board. He married Hilda Marchbanks Feb. 25, 1903. Survivors' include his widow, a daughter and three sons, Mrs. Melba Mel-ba E. Bonavich, San Antonio, Tex., Blake, and Jesse Averett, Mapleton; Maple-ton; Pv. Neal Averett, with the a sister and three brothers, Mrs. TJ. S. Army in Pennsylvania; also Morris Johnson, John, Frank, Ruf-us Ruf-us and Jay Averett, Springville. |
