Show FUNERAL HELD FOR CITY'S OLDEST WOMAN Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Third ward chapel, for Mrs. Sarah F. w'tney, 90, Springville's oldest woman, who died Sunday at the me of a daughter, Mrs. Alice Johnson, with whom she made her home, . Burial was in the Evergreen metery, directed by A. Y. Wheel-er Wheel-er & Son mortuary. Mrs. Witney was born in Lon-"on. Lon-"on. England, October, 1852, a "aughter of Stephen and Mary Clover. With a brother and sis- er' she migrated to New Zealand 1870, and shortly after she ar-"vi ar-"vi there she was married to Ge"'ge Witney. !n 1898, with five of their seven ons and daughters they left New ,and to corne to Utah as con-er con-er s to the L. D. S. church. Two we children remained in New wiand. For many years she had M aCt'Ve in church work.
