Show THE LADIES LITERARY CLUB MET THURSDAY evening at their first regular meeting meet-ing of the season at the home of Mrs. Paul Thorn. Her home was beautifully decorated with flowers of the season and early in the evening a delicious luncheon was served. The program featured a paper given in an interesting manner by Mrs. Glenn Sumsion on "The Ten Most Important Men In Washing, ton," and a delightful short story by Mrs. A. E. Jacobsen. Russell Palfreyman also entertained with a violin selection accompanied by Robert Thorn, and Robert also gave a piano number. Mrs. Ernest Boyer, accompanied by Mrs. La-Celle La-Celle Sumsion, entertained with two vocal selections. Mrs. LaCelle Sumsion, president, had charge of the program and announced the next meeting for October 2 at the home of Mrs. F. C. Packard. |
