Show SERVICES ARE TODAYFOR YOUNG MOTHER Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted in the First ward chapel today at 2 p. m., for Mrs. Betty Lou Palfreyman Walker, 21, wife of Pvt. Lynn R. Walker, who died Monday of complications following follow-ing childbirth, at a local hospital. Friends may call at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Palfreyman, 89 South, Fourth East street, before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler Wheel-er and son mortuary. Betty Lou was born in Springville Spring-ville March 7, 1922, a daughter of William and Mattie Thorn Palfreyman. Pal-freyman. She attended schools here and graduated from the local high school. She took an active part in musical and dramatic entertainments en-tertainments in church and school. They were married Dec. 22, 1941 in Springville, and a year later received their endowments in the Salt Lake temple. Her husband, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Walker Walk-er of this city, is at present stationed sta-tioned with the Army Air Corps, somewhere in England. Surviving, besides her husband, are the infant daughter, Betty Lyn, born July 3; her parents, a sister, Mrs. Glenna P. Hatfield, and a brother, Russell Palfreyman of Springville; a grandfather, Dennis Den-nis Palfreyman, Springville. |
