Show Charles A. Wignall Former Resident, Dies in Provo Mon. Charles A. Wignall, 61, native of Springville and former resident of this city, died Monday at his home in Provo, following a lingering linger-ing illness. He was born in Springville, Aug. 26, 1889, a son of James and Harriet Har-riet Burt Wignall, and received his education in the schools here. He married Percinda Gallup, December De-cember 24, 1910. They lived in Amedee, Calif., for a few years, then moved to Salt Lake City. They had lived in Provo since 1918 and he had worked with the Troy Laundry Co., the Utah Power and Light Co., and worked on con- ; struction of Geneva. While working work-ing on construction at Geneva, he suffered a fractured back and had been in ill health since. He was a i member of the LDS church. Surviving, besides his widow, are one son and three daughters, J. Earl Wignall, Silver Springs, Md.; Mrs. Morris Duke, Provo and Mrs. Merlin Finch, Orem; 11 grandchildren; grand-children; one brother, Ernest Wignall, Wig-nall, Salt Lake City; Mrs. W. J. (Ella) Hatch, Provo;. Mrs. Ruel (Grace) Averett, Springville; Mrs. Giddeon (Maggie) Daley, Springville. Spring-ville. Funeral services will be conducted conduc-ted today at 1 p.m. in the Berg Drawing Room. Friends may call at the mortuary before the services. ser-vices. Burial will be in the Evergreen Ever-green cemetery. |
