Show KIWANIS CLUB FETE LADIES Mr. and Mrs. H 'T. Reynolds, Jr., were in charge of a well-ar-I ranged program and social for the Kiwanis club members and their partners Wednesday night at Memorial hall. Mr. Piper of Salt Lake City gave an especially Interesting lecture and displayed moving picture slides on the old Salt Lake theater thea-ter and other historical and otherwise other-wise interesting places. The entertainment en-tertainment was entitled, "Leaves p Old Albums." Miss Helen Palfreyman also entertained with vocal solos. The luncheon was suggestive of Hallowe'en, with favors and other decorations in appropriate colors. The club meeting last Thursday featured the nominations of officers offi-cers of the club for the coming vear. Milton Harrison and M. W. Bird were nominated for president; presi-dent; Dean Stewart and C. E. Eg-gertsen, Eg-gertsen, for vice president; J. F. Wingate, A. G. Johnson, Merle Sergant, David Friel. C. O. Clau-din. Clau-din. Emil Ostlund. C. G. Salisbury, Salis-bury, W. H. Anderson, W. R. Ed-dington. Ed-dington. Rov Dispain. Myron Childs. D. B. Welch, W. W. Brock-hank, Brock-hank, A. G. Thorn, directors. Of the last group, seven will be ilected. The election will be held next Thursday night, at the regular regu-lar club luncheon. |
