Show MRS. WESTWOOD SERVICES HELD Final tributes of love and respect re-spect were paid Mrs. Mary N. Westwood at funeral services conducted con-ducted in the Fourth ward chapel Snturdav afternoon. Burial wna in the Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Westwood, widow of J. M. Wcs1.-wood. Wcs1.-wood. died at a Salt Lake Cit hospital Thursday night, of complications com-plications resulting from a fall at her home ten days before, when she susta'ned a fractured hip. She was confined to the hospital since the accident. Born in Portsmouth, England. October 1J. 1848. Mrs. Westwood came to Utah in 1871. She resided in Salt Lake City until May, 1002, when she came to Springville. Her first husband was John Grey, whom she married in Suit Luke City. She married Mr. Westwood in Springville in 1904. He died in 1929. Mrs. Westwood, one of the oldest old-est residents of this community, has always been active in church work, being a Relief Society teacher for many years both here and in Salt Lake City. She was well known among her many friends here as "Aunt Polly." She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Georgina Guymun, Provo, 13 nieces and nephews. |
